Orbis ("the Service") is operated by Kyren Mearr Cabellon, an individual doing business under the name Orbis, based in the Republic of the Philippines.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers. If you are using Orbis on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Orbis is an AI co-pilot for product managers that connects to project management tools such as JIRA and ClickUp. It uses artificial intelligence to help draft tickets, surface edge cases, recommend assignees, and maintain a living product guide.
The Service is provided as-is and is subject to change. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use the Service. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify us immediately at kyren@orbisboards.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.
You agree not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions.
Orbis uses large language models to generate ticket drafts, product guide entries, and other content. AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and should be reviewed before use.
You acknowledge that:
We process the content you provide (ticket descriptions, board context, project information) to generate responses. We do not use your content to train our underlying AI models.
Orbis connects to third-party services including JIRA, ClickUp, and Confluence via their respective APIs. By connecting these services, you authorize Orbis to access and process data from those services on your behalf.
Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Orbis is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to grant Orbis access to any third-party data you connect.
Paid plans are billed on a monthly basis. Billing is processed by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to cancel a digital subscription within 14 days of purchase. By requesting immediate access to the Service upon purchase, you acknowledge that this withdrawal right may be waived in accordance with applicable law. If you believe you are entitled to a statutory refund, contact us at kyren@orbisboards.com.
We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Orbis and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Orbis and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any content you provide to the Service. By using the Service, you grant Orbis a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service or any part of it without our prior written consent.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORBIS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO ORBIS IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to indemnify and hold Orbis, its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. If you violate these Terms, termination may be immediate regardless of your subscription status.
For users on a free plan, we may also terminate access without cause at any time and without notice.
For paying subscribers, if we terminate your access without cause, we will provide at least 14 days written notice and issue a pro-rated refund for any unused portion of your current billing period.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at kyren@orbisboards.com or through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We do not issue refunds for voluntary cancellation mid-cycle.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
Orbis is not liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control. This includes unavailability of third-party APIs (including JIRA, Confluence, ClickUp, or Anthropic's Claude API), internet or telecommunications outages, natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify affected users and restore service as quickly as practicable. Force majeure events do not excuse payment obligations already incurred.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Orbis regarding your use of the Service. They supersede any prior agreements or representations, whether written or oral.
Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by Kyren Mearr Cabellon to be effective.
Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines for any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service.
Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. Either party may initiate formal proceedings if a dispute is not resolved within 30 days of written notice.
